T1N Spare Key (2001-06 Vans)

This is a blank key that fits in the T1N door locks and ignition. 

You can take your current Sprinter key, along with this key, to any locksmith and ask them to cut a copy. This newly cut copy will ONLY UNLOCK YOUR DOORS. It will NOT start your van. 

Some people like to have one key for the doors and a separate one for the ignition. 

Some people like to keep one of these keys hidden under their van in case of emergency. 

To work in your ignition (to turn on the engine), this key will need a chip that is located in your current Sprinter key. You can make a copy of that chip, or if your current Sprinter key breaks, you can remove the chip from the broken key and insert it into this new key.
