While this handle may appear to be identical to the handles on your other doors, it’s not. The exterior is the same, but the design of the inside of the handle is specifically for the sliding door. 
If you find any of your doors becoming difficult to open or requiring a lot of force to open or close, get to work lubricating the hinges, rollers, latches and internal cables.
