T1N Door Lock Assembly, Automatic, Rear Door (2001-06 Vans)

Door Latch Assembly, Automatic door lock (includes lock actuator -the black plastic box you see in the photos). 

We have found that these latches fail by not staying closed all the way, sometimes even randomly allowing the back door to swing open while you are driving! Joel has had this happen on a number of occasions. 

If you keep adjusting your back door and finding it wont stay closed, or find your door only staying closed if you SLAM it hard, you may be looking for one of these guys. 

This is specifically for vans with CENTRAL LOCKING systems (most T1N Sprinters in the US). If you have a central locking system and it doesn't work, you still need this part. In their infinite wisdom, Mercedes has made some changes between automatic and manual locking systems that make these pieces not interchangeable in certain situations. 

Fits both low and high roof rear T1N doors.
